2000 Château de Carles, Fronsac
2000 was a great success in Fronsac and Canon-Fronsac, giving this small region, once the jewel of the Right Bank, a well-deserved shot in the arm. This is stylish and opulent, offering berry fruit, chocolate, mocha and such silky tannins too. There is a generosity here not normally associated with fronsac.
