Weather Report is a new label created by young South African winemaker Christopher Keet Jnr. By day he works at the Bot River Gabrielskloof estate, but in his own time he has started producing small quantities of Cabernet Franc from tiny vineyards across the Western Cape. They have been well received, and suggest a bright future. Our reviewers called his 2019 releases ‘totally delicious’, ‘ageworthy’, ‘really lovely wine’ and ‘a brilliant first vintage’. The blend of sites and soils from the Cape give Weather Report wine plenty of variety on the nose and an intensity of flavour.
