Comprising just 36% of production and consisting of 90.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine continues to be bold, tannic and surly as it reaches maturity. The structural components are firm and strong, unyielding in nature yet crafted with immaculate precision and sophistication. This is a monumental Latour, yet with a sense of not being imposing, with a lithe, fluid nature. Clarity of expression, great depth, complexity and a very long finish. As great a wine as has ever been made at Latour.
