2010 Château Talbot
One of the very best vineyards of Bordeaux, and the best vintage of this century.

“This is a fabulous Talbot” - 94 points, Robert Parker

2011 Lay & Wheeler Brunello di Montalcino
The reigning red wine of Tuscany is Brunello, mostly produced in and around the hilltop town of Montalcino. We travelled to this stunning land of hilltop villages in search of the best Brunello out there, tasting countless wines from the 2011 vintage. One wine stood head and shoulders above the rest. Here’s a special blend created just for us by Val di Suga, from some of their best plots.

2013 Montecastro, Ribera del Duero
This comes from just down the road from such illustrious names as Vega Sicilia and Hacienda Monasterio, and is a juicy, ripe, smooth red that shows off the best of Ribera del Duero. With charming tannins and excellent length, it’s delicious now, but will be great over the next 5 years or so.

2009 Chapelle de Potensac, Cru Bourgeois Médoc
A fantastic display of claret, this remains beautifully fresh with a touch of development: smooth, smoky flavours have developed alongside the up-front fruitiness. The palate is rich but very well balanced with excellent freshness, whilst the flavours linger for an age. This is delicious now, and will continue to be so over the next few years.
