1 BOTTLE OF EACH OF THE FOLLOWING WINES.

2016 Wanderer's Heart, Thorne & Daughters, Western Cape
This delicious Mediteranean blend is the very first vintage made by John Seccombe, one of South Africa’s rising stars: it’s a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Mourvedre, and one of just 4,000 bottles made.

2010 Château Talbot
One of the very best vineyards of Bordeaux, and the best vintage of this century.
“This is a fabulous Talbot”
94 points, Robert Parker

2013 Barbaresco, Cantina del Pino, Piedmont
This tiny winery holds a special place in the history of Barbaresco: its first owner put Barbaresco on the map. Owned by a lovely Italian couple, Franca and Renato, devoted to the Nebbiolo grape, this silky, more elegant cousin to Barolo is delicious.

2014 Bourgogne Pinot Fin, Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux
Arnoux-Lachaux are one of Burgundy's finest names, and this is the perfect introduction to this prestigious domaine. This Pinot Noir is made using some new oak and the pressing of some whole bunches of grapes, leaving it intensely rich and concentrated with crunchy red fruits and silky tannins.

2015 Crozes-Hermitage, Domaine des Grands Chemins, Delas Frères
With an impressive female winemaker, Claire Darnaud, at the helm since 2010, and considerable investment in the cellar, Delas is one of the best names of the Rhone Valley. Fresh, textured and accessible, this Syrah is simply delicious. There’s pure cherry and spice with a touch of smoke, and it’s thoroughly charming.

2005 Viña Tondonia Rioja Reserva, López de Heredia
Lopez de Heredia is one of Rioja's most storied names and this, their 2005 Viña Tondonia Reserva, a blend of 70% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacho, 5% Graciano and 5% Mazuelo, is the wine for which they're famous. It's made from their own vineyards, a rarity in the region, and aged in old oak vats as is tradition. The wine, called "exceptional" by critic Luis Gutierrez and awarded 93 points, is very well balanced, with bright fruit and energy, and a long clean finish.
