Port 2017: A year to rival the greatest

2017 is a classic year for vintage Port. A dry year, but without excessive heat spikes, led to thick-skinned grapes and low yields. This harvest has yielded rich, sensuous, charming wines, with silky tannins, remarkable depth and amplitude of flavours. It’s clear that this really is a vintage year for the Douro valley.
