Lay & Wheeler is a Burgundy specialist and we have fostered strong, long-standing relationships with many great growers across the region, many of whom we have worked with for decades.

We receive favourable allocations, but as ever with the finest wines of this great region, demand is always going to outstrip supply. This is why we send you an Expression of Interest offer at this early stage, even before pricing is finalised. In essence, we ask you to let us know your requirements in order that we might allocate limited stocks as fairly as possible. It is an open book, with each client able to secure the greatest wines of the vintage, provided they place a balanced order encompassing a spread of wines from up and down the scale.

Our extensive buying trip, which led to ten members of the Lay & Wheeler team visiting Burgundy to taste and assess the vintage, proved highly beneficial and we are delighted with the range of wines that we are able to offer.
