Competitive Cellarage Charges
When will I be invoiced?
Cellarage charges are raised quarterly, with the amount calculated per month. At the end of each quarter, invoices will be raised for the wines which have been cellared for the preceding three months.
When new wines are added, cellarage will be charged from the month of receipt.
When wines have been withdrawn, cellarage is stopped from the month the wine leaves the cellar.
How are the rates calculated?
Rates will be calculated per case per month, the monthly rate being one twelfth of the annual rate. One case in this instance is taken to mean 9 litres, that is 12 75cl bottles. The rate applicable to your wine cellar will be based on the number of cases in the cellar at the end of the preceding quarter. Insurance at full replacement cost is included within the cellarage rate.
