Strictly limited production - 37 hectos per hectare is a very low level in Bordeaux - has resulted in a concentrated, sumptuous mouthful of rich, exotic fruit. Despite approximately three quarters of new barrels, it is lucious fruit which dominates the perfume and palate. Very harmonious.
Dense ruby in the glass, which exudes notes of spice, morello cherry and raspberry. This fruit profile is carried through on the full-bodied palate, joined by soft, ripe tannins and a hint of liquorice. Fine, polished St. Emilion.
Opaque purple robe with violet rim. Clean and beautiful nose, showing moderately intense black cherry, mineral, cassis, coffee and vanilla aromas. Integrated tannins here with a very plush mouthfeel.
