Under bond wines?
A combination of 70-80 year old vines, low yields (28hl/ha) and 50% de-stemming produces a serious and ageworthy wine, with grippy, ripe tannins, lots of blackberry fruit, liquorice and a long mineral finish. This is a classy wine, which demonstrates the dediciation and drive of this superb domaine.
Produced from a large single parcel, situatied just below Latricières. This has a lovely top-note of spring flowers, wild strawberries and truffle. On the palate there is a smoky, animal edge. Texturally soft, with a ripe structure and a long complex finish.
Is this really only a villages Gevrey? Concentrated and elegant, with black cherry fruit and spicy undertones. Silky texture and grippy tannins make this a wine of real depth. An impressive effort.
A serious and weighty wine with crunchy raspberry fruit, well integrated spicy oak, fresh acidity and fine-grained, ripe tannins. This is a domaine with a growing reputation, which we believe is improving with each passing vintage. Manou Humbert is producing stylish, serious wines which will age well.
