More oaky on the nose than the Grands Epénots at this stage
of evolution but on the palate there is an astonishing fruit
intensity and precision - a stunning array of summer fruit

evidence and copious richness This is a wonderfully
harmonious Pinot - the bee’s knees! Spectacular intensity of
refined ripe fruit brings this cuvée to a dramatic finale.
Firm tannins with a velvet texture blur with the smoothly textured concentrated fruit in this wine. The fruit has a supple texture, yet the overall structure is backward and brooding.
