A complex and intriguing wine, with a nose alive with notes of warm heather, peat and salt-caramel. Toasted hazelnut notes provide the backdrop to more subtle dried flower, honey, hay and wood-smoke nuances on the palate, which is intense and concentrated, with a vein of citrus acidity and saline freshness that carries through to the long finish. Temptingly moreish, this is an absolute delight.
