Aromatic and attractive on the nose, with coffee bean and chocolate orange notes coming through. Absolutely bone dry on the palate, the vibrant and enlivening acidity lends it an apparent lightness of touch that belies its colour and fragrance. It is intensely characterful and complex however, with brazil nut, spice and woodsmoke coming through alongside somewhat bitter, but appealing, orange peel notes. A revelation.
