Made along Burgundian lines and aged in (half new) Allier oak for 11 months it has a nose of toasted hazelnut, aprocot blossom and grapefruit. This is an extremely sophisticated Chardonnay with a refined mouth-feel that shows the quality of which South Africa and, more specifically, Franschhoek is capable.
