2000 Cabernet Sauvignon, Wilyabrup, Moss Wood, Margaret River
Richer still and ultra ripe. A multi-dimensional Cabernet of the very highest order. Suave and with a peacock's tail array of leathery, sweet, ripe fruit and a touch of fruit cake. Genuinely complex. Although this has 14.5% alcohol it does not display a high octane character – on the contrary it is a tremendously elegant Cabernet with a long, refined chocolatey finish. Quite splendid!
