Appealing and open on the nose, with spicy notes of warm fruit and berries. The palate is refined and taut, with plenty of ripe tannic structure and a bright, fresh acidity. Layers of cherry fruit come through, with suede leather characters and a touch of store cupboard spice adding attractive savoury notes. The lingering finish is floral, with notes reminiscent of dried rose-petals.
