Herbaceous and savoury on the nose, alongside deeper notes of dark hedgerow fruit and tobacco. The palate is reserved and quite closed at this stage, with a firm, but fine, tannic structure and a delineating vein of minerality. The fruit core is dark and concentrated, but currently held in check by the structure, giving this a sense of refinement and elegance.
