Bright, intense hue in the glass, almost golden in colour, with a fine bead. The aromas offer complex nuances of nut, toast, freshly-baked brioche and almost caramel, as well as the scent of ripe fruit. Wonderful depth on the palate, rich, powerful yet with a gently building intensity. Very pure and precise, with notes of bruised apple, citrus and subtle toffee. The texture here is glorious, creamy and finely-tuned; there is a vibrant, youthful nature throughout, though the acidity is ripe and beautifully integrated. This is without a doubt an exceptional Champagne with the stature and harmony to reward extended cellarage. It will provide enjoyable drinking throughout its evolution. Very fine.
