Of perfect provenance, we purchased this wine directly from the Champagne house very recently. 1973 was an incredible vintage in Champagne, with the second largest harvest of the century. Bollinger R.D. 1973, of a different disgorgement date, was drunk at Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer’s wedding.
