Tasting Note
The 2002 shows a fine precision, pure, evocative in style with bruised orchard fruit characters and a taut, minerally nature. The creamy, soft pillowy mousse lends to a luxuriant, mouthfeel yet the overriding impression of Laurent’s 2002 Grand Cellier d’Or is one of purity and race. This has plenty to offer and will demand patience to reveal complexity. A great vintage for this notable house and a hugely individual champagne.
