N/V Blanc Souverain, Champagne Henriot
An emblematic Chardonnay cuvée made entirely from fruit of the best Premier and Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs. In common with Henriot's entire range, it sees no oak during fermentation or ageing. A striking wine in the glass, vivid and vibrant with gold highlights. The palate is beautifully pure, revealing light lemon zest notes. It has a discreet creaminess which builds to a fuller, toasty follow-through. A refined wine, elegant and pristine. The ideal partner to shellfish.
