Louis Métaireau’s second wine shows exactly why Muscadet can be so inexpensive and yet so delicious. Made from 30 year old vines and absorbing plenty of mineral character from the siliceous rock, there’s a wonderful balance here between pithy fruit character and minerals. Fresh but soft and extremely enjoyable.
