Made from a small parcel of vines within the Grand Cru of Sommerberg, the vines that contribute to this wine ripen ten days later than those in the main part of the vineyard. The aromatic intensity here is perfumed and impressive, with white flowers, grapefruit and apricot. This is a dry, full style, with a broad weight of fruit, yet balanced and poised with a vibrant mineral acidity. Elegant and complex with a lingering finish.
