2011 Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Piedlong, Frédéric et Daniel Brunier

2011 Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Piedlong, Frédéric et Daniel Brunier

A blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre and 10% Syrah. With the majority of the grapes previously destined for this cuvée now going into the Télégramme, the fruit for L’Accent de la Roquète now comes from the best vineyard areas on the estate. The quality increase is palpable. Fabulously scented, with notes of wild strawberry, cherry, thyme and pepper. The palate is silken with a suave texture, giving this a beautifully juicy mouth-feel. It has excellent balance with the core of bright acidity providing a delightful elegance to accentuate the pretty florals.
