This is a wine of great intensity, concentration and power. The aroma is heady, pretty and perfumed, with distinctive blackberry fruit and florality. Pure, fresh and inky, with grippy tannins and notes of peppered fruit and liquorice on the palate. The finish has a touch of roasted meat and spice. These old vines have yielded a wine of wonderful fruit character and complexity.
