2006 Vacqueyras, Azalais, Domaine le Sang des Cailloux
This wine is named after one of Serge Férigoule's daughters and is composed of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah with Mourvedre and Cinsault completing the blend. The palate shows an elegant fusion of chocolate, spice and black pepper. The underlying freshness of the vintage is there in the backdrop of acidity, fruit and soft, round tannins.
