La Roquète achieved 14.5% ABV easily in this vintage which stands testament to the near-perfect vintage conditions. The 2004 comprises 70% Grenache and is vibrant ruby in the glass with fabulous smoke-and-herb aromas. Fruits come to the fore on the palate alongside game and leathery notes, capturing classic character traits. Velvety tannins confirm the structure of the vintage. Intense, balanced and elegant, yet strong.
