Vaulorent is a sub-section of Fourchaume that borders Grand Cru Les Preuses, hence the intensity, complexity of flavour and structure that is always visible in Vaulorent's wines. A splendid Chardonnay that is several cuts above 'mere mortal' Chablis. A glorious profusion of scents and flavours are present here, including mineral notes, exotic and citrus fruits, herbs, gunflint and smoke - a tremendous breadth of nuances supported by a firm backbone and race. A long-lasting and outstanding Chablis that is Grand Cru in all but name.
