2010 Meursault Tête de Murger, Patrick Javillier

2010 Meursault Tête de Murger, Patrick Javillier

Another blended name, this time from Casse-Tête and Murgers de Monthelie. Softly rounded and quite delicate on the nose, this has attractive floral and soft greengage fruit on the palate. There is a subtle smokiness to this, which is both attractive and appealing, blending with creamy-natured citrus fruit and soft, graphite minerality. On the finish, this is very long, but almost delicate, with notes of white flowers and a dart of citrus acidity. Lovely.
