Ripe and rich on the nose, with notes of damson and cherry, this has a robust, almost-masculine structure on the palate, with ripe, but firm tannins. There is a dense, tightly wound core of dark berry fruit here, with a hint of subtle spice. A wine that needs a lot of time to unfurl and fully express itself, but already showing great potential.
