2009 Bourgogne Rouge, Anne Gros
Darkly fragrant on the nose, but perhaps a little ungiving at this stage. The palate shows surprisingly robust tannins that encase the almost-floral dark berry fruit core. Balanced and very fine, all elements well-integrated, with no evident edginess.
