A new wine to the Cathiard portfolio, from a vineyard just on the Vosne side of Nuits. Dark fruit on the nose is akin to damson and black cherry. On the palate this is flowing and gently mouthfilling with the fragrant aspect of vosne overlaying a sweet rich fruit. This is an impressive nuits, though bolder and more obvious than the Murgers below. Classy, appealing and persistent, with mineral traces on the finish.
