2005 Nuits-St-Georges Vieilles Vignes, Alain Michelot
From two parcels of vines of at least 45 years of age. The palate is beginning to emerge from youthful tightness, with the intensity and dense nature of old vine fruit clearly evident. There is a wonderful grainy structure with a densely fruity, almost chewy length.
