Unctuous and intense, rich, yet fresh, Doisy-Védrines has produced a glorious Barsac this year. More intense and deeper in colour and structure than most wines of the commune but it retains acidity to deliver explosive scents and flavours. Rather like tasting liquid apricots with a hint of caramel and spices.
