2006 Château Bahans Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan

2006 Château Bahans Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan

The make-up of Bahans is virtually equal proportions of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc plus 2% Petit Verdot. The nose suggests mineral, graphite and cassis - classic Péssac-Léognan. The palate is also ‘mineral driven’ and displays wet stone notes with black fruits and hints of forest floor in the mid palate. Fresh and positive with a steely finish.
