2006 Château La Lagune, Cru Classé Haut-Médoc

La Lagune has produced a fully-flavoured and weighty 2006 vintage. The nose is dominated by vanillin, oak and freshly picked blackcurrants. Ripe tannins support spicy, exotic flavours which overlay a firm structure and weight. Texturally, this is very impressive. The 2006 vintage continues the strides forward that have been made at La Lagune since investment in a new chai at the property.
