2010 Brauneberger Riesling Kabinett, Fritz Haag

The Haag family and their ancestors have been making wine in the Mosel valley for centuries and are now well-known for their pure, mineral wines made from fruit from the great vineyards of Braunerberg and Brauneberger Sonnenühr. This has a subtle, slightly smoky nose, with notes of citrus and white flowers coming through. On the palate, a lean minerality and zesty acidity providing the framework to gentle citrus characters and notes of lime flower. Pure and harmonious, with an effortlessly long finish.
