While the tannic structure is quite robust, the overall impression is of a silky texture and tremendous balance. Profound, dark fruit give this wine a sense of depth, but the vintage-hallmark freshness lends tremendous balance. | Always a favourite of ours, this vintage is no exception. Lemon sherbet and peach notes come through on the appealing nose, drawing one into the wine. The rich core is full and rounded, with a creamy-nature to the fruit, yet it is all beautifully balanced by an attractive citrus acidity.
