Chile has well and truly established itself on the world stage as a producer of note, its wines finding many friends at the value end of the spectrum, and recently causing a stir at the top. Fruit quality from its vineyards under the Andes is impeccable, and satisfaction is assured. At the Berlin Tasting of 2004, Chilean wines were judged first and second in a blind assessment against the best of France, California and Italy.
