Storage of customers' own wines

We welcome enquiries from any private owner seeking the confidence of assured long-term storage in the perfect environment for wine. In addition your wines will be automatically added to your portfolio giving you, amoungst other things, access to up-to-date maturity advice and current market values.*

Delivery to Lay & Wheeler is the responsibility of the owner/trade cellar, however it is often possible to consolidate collections from other trade cellars. A fully detailed inventory must be provided before wines are sent to Vinothèque. Please note that we can no longer collect from other UK bonded warehouses.

If you wish to consolidate your reserves with us please contact our Reserves Department who will be pleased to help you with your request.

Sealed Original Cases

There is no charge for receiving, handling and documentation in respect of wines purchased elsewhere and delivered to Lay & Wheeler for storage at Vinothèque.

Mixed Cases

Documentation - There will be a minimum charge £50.00 plus a charge on a per case basis at £12.50 per 9 ltrs.
