Terms of the offer...

Prices are per case of 12 bottles in bond except where otherwise stated. Duty and VAT will be charged at the prevailing rates following clearance from bond.

• Duty – a fixed charge, regardless of the cost of the wine. Currently, duty for still wine is £19.26 per case of 12 bottles.
• VAT – chargeable on both the purchase price of the wine and on the Duty. VAT is currently set at 15%.

Quantities: Orders are accepted in unmixed original sealed cases only.

Orders: are accepted subject to stocks remaining unsold.

Shipping: Wines from this offer will be shipped from late October 2009 directly to bonded storage at Vinothèque.

Storage following shipment: Wines stored with Lay &Wheeler at Vinothèque will be subject to published cellarage charges. Currently, this is £12.60 per 12 bottle case per annum. All other case sizes will be charged pro-rata.

Delivery: Onward delivery within mainland UK will be charged at the prevailing customer-reserves delivery rate. Currently, delivery to mainland UK fromVinothèque is £5.00 per case (minimum charge of £15.00). For delivery outside mainland UK and for deliveries of 4 cases or more, please contact us for a personal quotation.

Availability: Lay &Wheeler endeavors to offer wines in quantities for which it has taken and confirmed orders; however, if for any reason beyond its control any wines in this offer fail to be supplied by the producer, where possible, similar wines will be offered. Alternatively we will undertake to refund any payments with interest (at Bank of England base rate at the date of order) made in respect of orders placed for the wines.

Order cancellation/withdrawal: Lay &Wheeler will accept the purchaser giving notice of withdrawal from an en primeur or in bond purchase within seven days from the date of invoice. Notice must be given in writing and will be effective upon receipt at Lay & Wheeler's sales office.
